Balance your job and school
Part-time jobs can be good for getting extra money, independence, getting out of the house and meeting new people. Some research has shown a positive relationship between part-time work and school achievements.
However, it's also shown that working too much can interfere with school work. Make sure you have the time to commit to part-time work before you take it on. If you already work part-time and are finding it hard to stay on top of things, have a look at the time-management tips or talk to a parent or teacher about it. Try not to work more than 10 hours a week.
